The Hell House films only seem to get better with age. Terror Films Releasing just announced the fifth entry into the franchise, Hell House Lineage, will begin filming this November with an October 2025 release date. Writer/director Stephen Cognetti is on board for the latest installment.
In a press release, Terror Films says that this chapter will, “continue a deeper dive into the back stories of various characters within the franchise, while introducing new characters and storylines.”
The Carmichael Manor (pictured above) was the previous chapter in the series and it fared pretty well among critics and fans. Its found footage approach and some genuinely scary moments are all hallmarks of the Hell House films and they continue to shine in that genre. Carmichael Manor is currently streaming on Shudder.
This latest news comes with a teaser to prepare horror fans for what’s ahead in this cult favorite series.
Hell House LLC: Lineage will be written and directed by Cognetti, with Joe Bandelli producing. Terror Films Releasing CEO, Joe Dain and COO, Jim Klock will act as Executive Producers.
