Muppet-Inspired ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Film Fantasy

Published

on

The Muppets have been everywhere from Sesame Street to Rodeo Drive. From Manhattan to the Milky Way. But little did we know they also have an arm in Texas. Make that an arm, a leg, and even a few teeth. That’s the premise behind this A.I. created homage to Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

We found this spectacular fantasy on Reece Redbond’s Facebook page. They also have a saucy Instagram feed under their handle @dementia_von_grimm.

Jim Henson wouldn’t approve but the late Gunnar Hansen might.

This unsettling, but very cute pictorial parody shows what Leatherface and Grandpa might look if they were made into Muppets at the Creature Shop. This fantasy movie mock-up might also include musical numbers which seems odd, but still fascinating.

Intellectual properties like this made through the AI engine might escape a copyright strike, but it didn’t escape our eyes and now we are uttering the famous social media phrase: “We gotta make this happen.”

Leatherface switches out his chainsaw for an ice cream scoop. It gets hot in Texas!
Heads of the estate.
Kermie isn’t prepared.
Grandpa just wants his toy hammer.
In the puppet world, Leatherface uses a batting de-stuffer, not a Poulan 245A chainsaw, to menace his victims.
