‘Krampus The Naughty Cut’ is Coming to 4K UHD Just in Time For Christmas

Published

Krampus

Michael Dougherty’s Christmas classic (yes, it is) is coming to special edition 4k UHD in time for Christmas. Yea, that means that this is the version that Dougherty intended for audiences to see but was deemed to long and too “naughty” for the studio. So, now we are going to have to own this version to truly make sure that Santa puts us on that much sought after naughty list.

The synopsis for Krampus The Naughty Cut goes like this:

When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.

Krampus

Primarily, from the indication that we read this is going to be for dialogue scenes. But, maybe we will get some more gore, but I doubt it. In any case, Krampus grew on me and it rules. So, I’ll be grabbing a copy of this bad boy for sure.

Krampus The Naughty Cut comes to 4K UHD from Scream Factory beginning Dec. 7. You can pre-order your copy right now over HERE. If you order while they still have them, you will receive an 18 x 24 Krampus poster with your order.

Were you a fan of Krampus? Will you be picking up The Naughty Cut? Let us know in the comments section.

New ‘The Watchers’ Trailer Adds More to the Mystery

Published

on

Although the trailer is almost double its original, there is still nothing we can glean from The Watchers other than a harbinger parrot who loves to say, “Try not to die.” But what do you expect this is a Shyamalan project, Ishana Night Shyamalan to be exact.

She is the daughter of twist-ending prince director M. Night Shyamalan who also has a movie coming out this year. And just like her father, Ishana is keeping everything mysterious in her movie trailer.

“You can’t see them, but they see everything,” is the tagline for this movie.

They tell us in the synopsis: “The film follows Mina, a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.”

The Watchers opens theatrically on June 7.

For those who were wondering when Founders Day was going to make it to digital, your prayers have been answered: May 7.

So what happened to Founders Day? It was a January baby but hasn’t been available to rent on digital until now. Not to worry, JoBlo via Coming Soon reports that the elusive slasher is heading to your digital rental queue early next month.

“A small town is shaken by a series of ominous killings in the days leading up to a heated mayoral election.”

Although the film isn’t considered a critical success, it still has some nice kills and surprises. The film was shot in New Milford , Connecticut back in 2022 and falls under the Dark Sky Films horror banner.

It stars Naomi Grace , Devin Druid , William Russ , Amy Hargreaves , Catherine Curtin , Emilia McCarthy and Olivia Nikkanen

Deadpool & Wolverine might be the buddy movie of the decade. The two heterodox superheroes are back in the latest trailer for the summer blockbuster, this time with more f-bombs than a gangster film.

This time the focus is on Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman. The adamantium-infused X-Man is having a bit of a pity party when Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) arrives on the scene who then tries to convince him to team up for selfish reasons. The result is a profanity-filled trailer with a Strange surprise at the end.

Deadpool & Wolverine is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. It comes out on July 26. Here is the latest trailer, and we suggest if you are at work and your space isn’t private, you might want to put in headphones.
