Jamie Clayton has taken over the role of Pinhead in the new Hellraiser. This is the second photo we have seen with Clayton as Pinhead and we are digging the design. So far, we have noticed that the clothing isn’t actually there. The straps that look like should straps are actually just flesh missing down to the muscle. You can also see that there are some pronounced lines in her face that look like her whole face could easily be peeled away. We are also loving the Hell Priest jewelry inside of her neck. We can’t wait to see a full-body photo of Clayton’s Pinhead.

Bruckner says that this entry isn’t meant to be a reboot. He told EW that there is no topping the original so this is its own chapter in the Hellraiser universe.

“It seemed like it was coming. It’s an interesting piece of casting,” David Bradley told said last month. “I don’t know Jamie. Of course, they have taken even a little bit of a wrinkle in that, because Jamie is transgender. I’m not familiar with her recent work but there was a science fiction series on Netflix several years ago called Sense8 which I was quite a fan of. Jamie was in that, and I really, really liked her performance in that.”

We are loving the look of both Clayton as Pinhead and the new Cenobite. Both are terrifying and both are continuing the vision of the terrifying Cenobites from Hellraiser history.

The synopsis for the new Hellraiser goes like this:

In the all-new “Hellraiser,” a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.

We are expecting a trailer soon.

Bruckner’s Hellraiser arrives on Hulu beginning October 7.
