Dead by Daylight has done an impressive job of lining up the full all star roaster of horror icons. It’s pretty damned impressive considering. We need to get their legal team on the whole Friday the 13th debacle. They already have Ghostface, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface and others and now they have added Hellraiser characters.
The Hellraiser characters include The Hell Priest and The Chatterer which I’ve always referred to as Chatter Box but, there you have it.
Each of the characters received their own respective trailers. One with The Hell Priest ripping up a new box owner. Then a character examination of The Chatterer.
The game is an isometric arena survivor where you and and three other players try to escape the clutches of the killers that are hunting you. Dead by Daylight has been out for a while now, and it just keeps on adding more and more characters to its roster.
Personally, I have mixed feelings on the game. I have always felt that the controls for the game have always felt stiff and sort of unresponsive. It hasn’t been a favorite of mine due to the controls and its graphical approach. But, I’ve kept going back regardless. I can’t pass up on the opportunities of playing as these horror icons.
To make things more interesting, each of the characters also come with their respective levels. For example, Michael Myers comes with a Haddonfield level.
The Hellraiser DLC for Dead by Daylight is available Sept. 20 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
