Evan Peters went through a lot to step into the mindset of serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer. This included going all out in a variety of ways. One of the most interesting was definitely how he actually wore Dahmer’s clothes in order to entirely change his mindset.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peters wore Dahmer’s glasses, jeans and shoes for months leading up to the production of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Additionally, he wore weights to allow him to walk and stand like Dahmer.
So, with that much dedication to the role, you can see how things could get a little dark in the actor’s personal life. In order to combat those darker emotions he relied on his family, friends and the John C. Riley and Will Farell movie, Step Brothers.
