Heather Lagenkamp is the final girl who seemingly outsmarted child-creeper Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street back in 1984. She recently attended Niagara Falls Comic Con where she talked to drag queen Elvirus for iHorror about her upcoming projects and what it was like filming that infamous bathtub scene.
Our iHorror doll, Elvirus, was all sudsed-up in her bubble bath costume complete with an emerging Freddy glove. in honor of that famous bit.
Lagenkamp also answers the question of whether or not she would ever play Nancy one last time. You can probably guess her answer.
It’s hard to believe that A Nightmare on Elm Street is celebrating 40 years. There are currently seven mainstream sequels to the film including a Jason Voorhees crossover, Freddy Vs. Jason, that came out 21 years ago. Most people don’t include the Samuel Bayer 2010 remake with actor Jackie Earle Haley playing Krueger as canon.
