Arguably 2022 has been the best year for horror movies in a really long time, and it just keeps getting better because if you missed the wild and surprising movie Barbarian, it is finding its way to home video and HBO Max on October 25.

Although the buzzing has died down a little bit, Barbarian is still staying alive at the box office despite dwindling ticket sales overall. But as its cinematic life cycle is coming to an end, its heritable home video life has just begun, and just in time for Halloween to boot.

This movie is best seen as blind as possible so we won’t give anything away except to say, unless you’ve read spoilers, this movie is not what you’re expecting. Some fans are calling it the craziest thing since Malignant in 2022. In fact, you can watch the trailer and still not know what you’re in for. To add to that, this is technically a Disney film.

So if you missed Barbarian at the theaters to catch your fourth viewing of Top Gun 2, don’t despair, on October 25, fresh off your first reactions to Halloween Ends, you can finally set your eyes on Barbarian.
