We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it visibly rather than quietly.
How to report an error
Email Anthony@iHorror.com with the article link and what you believe is incorrect. If you can point us to a source, it helps us move faster. We read every message.
What happens next
We check the claim against the original source. If we were wrong, we correct the article and add a dated correction note at the bottom explaining what changed. If we were right, we will tell you what our sourcing was.
How we mark changes
- Correction — a factual error in the original article. The article is fixed and a dated note explains what was wrong.
- Update — new information has emerged since publication. The article is updated with a dated note. The original reporting is not deleted.
- Clarification — the facts were right but the wording was open to misreading. We reword and note it.
What we don’t do
We do not silently edit a published article to change its meaning. We do not delete articles to make an error disappear. If a piece is withdrawn entirely, the URL stays live with an explanation of why.
Timing
We aim to respond to correction requests within two business days. Significant factual errors are corrected as soon as we have confirmed them, not on a schedule.
