Call of Duty Zombies is a constant and the one thing we can count on almost every year around the holidays. It’s totally okay with us considering it gives us a lot to do over Thanksgiving and Xmas holiday. Last year’s Call of Duty Black Ops: Zombies carried a team of four across thousands of undead and multidimensional portals whilst carrying tons of weaponry. It was a blast! Zombies also added several new modes including an open-world, mission-based game. It was the best Zombies has been in a long while.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is on its way November 5 and with it comes more undead! Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies will continue the Dark Aether storyline from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and take it to new levels pushed by next gen performance.
The official developer breakdown goes like this:
It all began with the opening of the Dark Aether gateway at Projekt Endstation. After the Nazi experiment went catastrophically wrong and punched a hole through the dimensional veil, the effects traveled far and wide. More than we ever knew.
Our Special Forces operatives are stranded in the snowy graveyard of Stalingrad, with no backup and no means of communication, held in by the dark magic of Kortifex the Deathless. Kortifex is one of five Dark Aether entities bonded with mortals via their otherworldly artifacts. The other four — Saraxis the Shadow, Norticus the Conqueror, Inviktor the Destroyer, and Bellekar the Warlock — are in revolt against Kortifex.
We can’t wait to dig into all the undead killing when Call of Duty: Vanguard drops on Nov. 5. Available on Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows.
