It won’t be long until we get to see the latest chapter in the Terrifier universe: Terrifier 3. The trailer for the third proper film in the series dropped today.

Writer/director, and makeup effects artist Damien Leone has built a slasher series that may go down in history as one of fandom’s cult favorites. His first film, Terrifier, which came out in 2016 felt like a Disney movie compared to its gratuitously graphic follow-up in 2022.

Leone’s love of Halloween season is clearly the inspiration for the series which features Art the Clown, a masochistic mime with a penchant for dismembering the human body while it’s still alive.

“I was raised on a steady diet of horror movies since I was a little kid,” Leone said to Halloween Daily News in 2021. “She (my mom) would just let me watch horror movies from a very young age, it really didn’t matter about them being rated R, which was cool

But it looks like this year Art is donning his slay apparel and wreaking havoc during Yuletide, ditching Samhain for Santa

Take a look at the Terrifier 3 trailer and let us know if you’re going to see it on opening day.
