“The Toxic Avenger The Musical” Closes Tonight in Orlando

Let’s Play – Short Horror Film of The Month

The Toxic Avenger first hit movie theaters over thirty years ago, but one production company in Florida has brought it back, this time on stage.

The Orlando Actors Theatre first opened their horror opus on January 3, 2017, with a final performance happening tonight at 8 pm in the Lowndes Shakespeare Complex.

Starring Adam McCabe as Melvin Ferd The Third/The Toxic Avenger, this musical takes the horror comedy classic to new levels with music and dance.

The Toxic Avenger sings!

Songs featured in this new production are as unique as the play itself.

From “Who Will Save New Jersey?” to Toxie’s “Thank God She’s Blind,” and the duet “Hot Toxic Love,” this isn’t your standard song-and-dance.

Adam says that the production took a little time to put together, but the results are well worth the time and energy.

With the Toxic Avenger find true love?

The final performance will be tonight, so grab your mop, bucket and favorite librarian and get to the theater before Toxie melts away for good.
