Leprechaun 4: In Space

When horror franchises jump the shark, they go to space.  It happened with Friday the 13th.  It happened with Hellraiser.  And, most ridiculously, it happened with LeprechaunLeprechaun 4: In Space sees Lep on a distant planet planning to marry a princess and usurp her kingdom.  Some space marines mess up his plans, so he messes them up.  It’s just as stupid as it sounds, but it’s still a good time.  Gather some friends and watch Leprechaun 4: In Space right here at TubiTV.

Leprechaun in the Hood

Is space isn’t your bag, the next film in the Leprechaun series is Leprechaun in the Hood.  Made in 2000, Leprechaun in the Hood begins with Lep being imprisoned by a record producer who steals his magic flute which enables him to effortlessly make hit records.  A group of rappers frees Lep, and Lep goes looking for his flute, with results that are predictable to anyone who has seen the previous four Leprechaun movies.  Ice-T stars as the record producer, giving Leprechaun in the Hood a little bit of street cred.  It’s also hilarious.  Get down with Leprechaun in the Hood here at TubiTV.

The Cave (2005), courtesy Sony Pictures Releasing.

The Cave

The Cave is a 2005 shocker about some divers who find themselves trapped in a maze of underwater caverns and being hunted by a pack of aquatic monsters.  The Cave shares some themes with The Descent (which also came out in 2005), and although it’s not as good, it’s still a tense and claustrophobic offering.  Games of Thrones’ Lena Headey and Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim lead the cast.  Explore The Cave right here at Crackle.

The Machinist (2004), courtesy Paramount Classics.

The Machinist

The Machinist is about an insomniac who thinks that he is losing his mind when he begins having paranoid hallucinations.  When he begins putting the pieces together, he discovers that his alternate reality may not be all in his head.  The Machinist is more of a mystery-suspense movie than a horror flick, but it’s plenty creepy and it’s got a jaw-dropping twist ending.  The cast of this 2004 film features Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Ironside, and, weighing in at around ninety pounds, modern method actor Christian Bale.  Check out The Machinist free-with-ads right here at Vudu.
