Hey Tightwads, welcome to another addition of Tightwad Terror Tuesday, where we bring you all the free movies that your internet connection can handle. It’s Thanksgiving this week (at least in the USA), so we’re doing things a little different – here are five big cinematic turkeys for your Turkey Day. Because sometimes, you want a little cheese with your meat.
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Let’s start off with what may be the biggest turkey of them all. Manos: The Hands of Fate is about a travelling family who accidentally stumbles upon a satanic cult led by the enigmatic “Master.” This 1966 movie is about as low budget as you can get; you can’t even call it a B-movie, it drops down to a C or a D. Nevertheless, it has left an indelible mark on movie history. Tom Neyman, the “actor” who played The Master, passed away last week, so there’s a bit of timeliness to this one, too. Catch Manos: The Hands of Fate here on YouTube, or if you prefer, you can see the Mystery Science Theater 3000 guys take a stab at it here at ShoutFactoryTV.
