It is probably one of the most parodied/referenced films of the last thirty years, and rightfully so. Carey’s character does terrible impressions of movies the entire run of The Cable Guy. It was only a matter of time before he did one of Hannibal. The scene is quick, silly, and irrelevant. Mostly including it because of how terrible of an impression it is.

This is the only entry where they reference the film in casual talk, and its perfect. Jez’s lack of whine knowledge comes out when he asks “Is the one Hannibal Lecter drinks real or a joke?”
