Well, the Netflix Gods came through when they said we would get a sneak peek into the second season of Stranger Things during the Super Bowl. And although it may have been brief, it was damn glorious.
Just a few days ago, we caught our first image of this said teaser with Dustin donning a pretty spiffy Ghostbusters costume looking slightly bewildered. The teaser really didn’t offer any insight into why, but what we did see is the anticipated return of Eleven and something that raised my eyebrows higher than Miss Eleven’s love for the Eggos waffles.
The trailer gives a brief glimpse at… something monstrous. What it in the blue hell is that thing?! It’s apparently about 100 times larger than the terrifying Demogorgon, and looks like a spider from seventh level of Hell. Or maybe it’s Cloverfields’s brother. Hmmm.. Could be? I have so many questions right now.
While we sit and speculate about Clovie’s little bro, let’s just refer to it as that for now, I suppose we will have to sit and wait until Halloween 2017 for answers as the trailer points to around that date for the season two premiere. Confirmed to return to the smash Netflix series are the awesome five friends of Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp. Also set to return is Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, and Matthew Modine. Newcomers to the series Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Brett Gelman, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, and Sadie Sink will be gracing the series as well.
More on season two of Stranger Things as the news rolls in!
