Fans of early ’80s exploitation and drive-in films, get ready to ring in the new year with Humongous. Humongous is one of those slow paced horror films that doesn’t really show the killer all that much, so your modern audience may find it boring. In fact, it’s currently rocking a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, although I wouldn’t consider it that bad. It has its moments and does have some atmosphere to it. Anyway, Humongous is being released sometime next year by Scorpion Releasing (news via their Facebook page) and even though their is not exact date locked down for the release, they do mention that they will be taking pre-orders next month and that the first 2000 orders will come with an exclusive slip cover with new artwork by Kung-Fu Bob.
