New Pennywise Masks Coming from Spirit Halloween

Let’s Play – Short Horror Film of The Month

Its time to get with the times, my friends! Hype for the rebooted film adaptation of IT is in full effect, and merchandising companies are taking notice. After all, it’s common knowledge that horror fans love their memorabilia collections. This Halloween, a surge of Pennywise costumes is to be expected. Now, thanks to Spirit Halloween, Skarsgard’s version of the character can be spotted running around the streets this October 31st as well.

I’ve got to be honest – I was taken aback by the new version of Pennywise when I first saw it. After all, Tim Curry’s version of the character has been engraved in our consciousness for so long. Seeing a new face for the character was a shock to the system for many, but at this point, I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that not only am I used to seeing the new Pennywise, I’m extremely excited for it.

Spirit Halloween has made a pretty good replica in their new line of masks, and it’s going to be awesome to see the fans don it during the upcoming season. I can sense the rumblings of the Pennywise army already. The mask costs $59.99 and will be shipped out in September, just in time for everyone’s favorite spooky holiday. You’ll float too, this holiday. We’ll all float, come then. We’ll ALL float.

There are two versions of the mask, but the one at the price point above is quite obviously of much better quality, and it’s impressive without a doubt.

If you’re still opposed to another actor playing the terrifying clown, it appears as if you’re going to just have to get used to it – merchandising is the way into every horror fan’s heart, and I’d say the new version of Pennywise is on a quick path to world horror domination!
