Gather around and sing along with Pennywise the Dancing Clown kiddies in this brand new TV trailer spot for Stephen King’s IT!
Over the past few days, multiple TV spots for the highly anticipated IT movie adapted to the screen from Mama‘s Andy Muschietti have popped up online inducing painted nightmares into our beauty sleep. IT is everywhere, and we can’t escape the continuing marketing of what Joe Hill calls one of the top five scariest films he’s ever seen. And frankly speaking, I don’t want IT to stop. I need more…
The first promo released just a few days ago is a Spanish TV promo spot that features a TALKING PENNYWISE. And yes boils and ghouls, it’s in English for the non-bi-lingual folk.
The second popped up yesterday on the interwebs featuring an extended look at Pennywise taunting the Loser’s Club by appearing in the crowd of presumably a children’s television program chanting KILL THEM ALL.
Since the appearance of these new TV promos, The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) website reveals that the duration of the long-awaited horror film is a respectable 135 minutes. In other words, audiences will have to endure Pennywise for a good 2 hours and 25 minutes. Which is actually an hour longer than the running time of part one in the 1990 miniseries.
The heavily rated R Stephen King’s theatrical debut of IT will float into theaters this September 8th, 2017.
