Stranger Things is really going hard with new trailers and clips leading up to season 2. Although they’ve shown us quite a bit of footage, there’s still an air of mystery surrounding the season’s details. For that, you have to give them credit. It’s far too often that preview clips give up the ghost on a film or series, revealing more than necessary and causing fans to lose interest. Everything I’ve seen so far has just built up my excitement.
The series returns to Netflix on October 27, just in time for Halloween weekend binge-watching. In the meantime, we’ve got a new clip courtesy of MCM London Comic Con introduced by Eleven herself, Millie Bobby Brown.
In the new clip, we see Eleven breaking through the slimy barrier in the Upside Down to make her way back to Hawkins. It’s worth mentioning that the Eleven we see in more recent trailers shows her with longer hair, so judging by her still-buzzed head and pink dress in the clip, it takes place either shortly after the events of the season one finale, or somehow time is delayed in the Upside Down.
As a reminder, season one ends around Christmas with season two showing scenes of Halloween. That’s quite a long time for Eleven to be wandering alone through the wilderness of Hawkins.
Check out the new clip below! Are you excited for the return of Stranger Things? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
