Listen To the Brand New Ghostbusters Theme Song

Written by John Squires

Bustin’ makes us feel good.

We’re less than a month away from the Ghostbusters remake, which most have already decided they hate with a fiery passion. If you’re one of those people, well, we can’t exactly say that the film’s remake of Ray Parker Jr’s classic theme song is going to change your mind. Performed by Fall Out Boy, featuring Missy Elliot, it’s titled “Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid),” and it just hit the net.

Is it good? Is it bad? I don’t even know. I’m an old person. And it does nothing for me.

Trying to remain positive… trying to remain positive… trying to remain positive.

Check out the new theme below, and let us know what YOU think.

In the Paul Feig-directed film, hitting theaters on July 15th, dead criminals from all eras of New York’s underbelly past have returned to roost among the living. Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth.

Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig star.
