Scott Cawthon is a sneaky guy. His Five Nights at Freddy’s series has Easter eggs and lore hints stuck so deep in the games’ code that you have to wonder sometimes how anyone could find them. So it really shouldn’t come as a surprise to find that he released the much-anticipated Five Night’s at Freddy’s 6 hidden inside another game. After the announcement that FNAF 6 was canceled at the end of June, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator snuck out on us earlier this week, and with it, the next act in the Five Nights at Freddy’s Story.

As the title implies, the game appears to be a business simulator game. You start with a basic restaurant and buy lights, plates, games, and even animatronics. You set them out, maintain them, accept sponsorships, order plates and napkins, and print out posters. You even get sued if you use equipment that’s faulty or don’t maintain it, and people get hurt.

In true Five Night’s at Freddy’s fashion though, once you get your restaurant open for the day, you retreat to an office, where you’re in a small room and have to deal with things coming at you through the vents while you work.

For those who want to dig into the lore, not only can you purchase and place games in your pizzeria, you can play them too! When you beat them, or reach some other milestone, most of them give you a story piece relating to the franchise. Make no mistake though, this game has a story piece of its own to tell, which you’ll find by working your way through the game.

If you’re ready to try your hand at the latest game in the Five Nights at Freddy’s it’s available on Steam right now, and best of all, it’s free!
