As fans count down the days, into the hours, into the minutes, into the seconds leading to the brand new season of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000, Felicia Day has dropped a sneak MST3K peek of her and co-star Patton Oswalt as the new Mads!

As you can see, Day and Oswalt are wearing some particularly evil looking jet-black uniforms and looking quite familiar to their fiendish family trees. Felicia Day playing Kinga Forrester, the daughter of original series mad scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester, while Oswalt plays TV’s Son of TV’s Frank, the son of TV’s Frank. Go figure. They also appear to be in an updated form of DEEP 13, the underground bunker below the Gizmonics Institute where the original Mads made their base of operation while forcing Joel or Mike and the bots to watch terrible movies. Curiously, there appears to be a new symbol to their organization as well. Seen on TV’s Son of TV’s Frank with some kind of skull with antennae. How this will play into the wraparounds and mythos of the series has yet to be seen.
With the revival series set to drop on April 14th on Netflix, I’m sure there’ll be a few more sneak peeks and previews as we get ready for our new Mads in charge to push an all new button and invoke a brand new movie sign! The MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 revival will also star comedian Jonah Ray as Jonah Heston, the new host and human riffer of bad movies on the Satellite Of Love that he’s forced to watch as a part of this wacky science experiment. Fellow comedians Hampton Young and Baron Vaughn will providing the new voices of his robot pals Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo among many new cast additions. As the hype continues to build, sit tight, watch the 20 classic episodes added to Netflix, and keep watching the skies! And the series Twitter/Facebook pages, probably.
