EXCLUSIVE: Drew Struzan’s Jaw-Dropping MondoCon 2017 Reveals

MondoCon is nearly upon us. The print collector’s celebratory behemoth is going down Nov. 4 and 5 in Austin, Texas at the Austin American- Statesman and we can hardly wait. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve got a gander at some of the goodies that the amazing lineup of artists are bringing with them.  Each reveal has been just as amazing as the last. Our wallets are already shivering in fear for the number of things we already need to add to our collections.

This year, the legendary Drew Struzan will be in attendance amongst the already fantastic list of artists and we cannot contain ourselves, you guys. Struzan is responsible for all sorts of celebrated illustrations over the years, from Star Wars to Indiana Jones to Blade Runner (to name a few) this guy is a walking legend. His attendance at this year’s MondoCon is straight up colossal.

We couldn’t be more excited to be offered the opportunity to exclusively share two of the prints Struzan will be bringing with him. Of course, both are absolutely mesmerizing and you guys are going to want to own the pair, we certainly do. Seriously, Frankenstein’s monster and his bride have never looked better.

MondoCon is a celebration of everything Mondo loves, including movies, art, comics, music, toys and food. It’s a weekend curated with fans in mind, featuring incredible artists and creators from around the world, panels, screenings, food trucks, live score and interactive events.

“MondoCon is a celebration of everything Mondo loves, including movies, art, comics, music, toys, and food, and we’re excited to share our love for the city of Austin by holding the convention right downtown at the Austin American-Statesman.” Said Mondo’s Gallery and Events Manager, David Rancatore. “The venue used to house the newspaper’s printing presses and is a great space for all of the amazing artists, exhibitors, attendees, and panels this weekend. We’re thrilled to host our evening screenings at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar, the home of Mondo for many years, and for our fans to enjoy the awesome Drafthouse movie-going experience.”
