Yes, it’s true. Jurassic World 2 will rely more heavily this go around on animatronics rather than mostly CGI, bringing a more classic look to the film. Concept artist for the first World film Seth Engstrom took to social media himself in the wake of all the JW2 interwebs hubble and first shared by mega-fan site Jurassic Outpost, the artist revealed a few different visions of the massively aggressive Indominus Rex that looks even more terrifying than the final product!
Originally titled as a Malusaurus, then Diabolous Rex, the name Indominus Rex meaning “fierce and untameable King”, was decided upon.
Pretty rad, right?! One can only wonder what kind of monstrosities Jurassic World 2 will bring that can possibly top this or the Mosasaurus Maximus. Only time will tell as the news and images get released. Stay tuned!
