‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Season 3 Gets 2018 Premiere Date

Coming Exclusively To iHorror October 27th

One of the biggest horror treats to arrive on the small screen in the last few years is Starz’s Ash vs Evil Dead, a continuation of the iconic franchise starring Bruce Campbell.

With Campbell back wielding Ash’s trademark chainsaw, Ash vs Evil Dead has essentially been the fourth Evil Dead film that fans had been wanting for over two decades. Actually, considering that each season runs about 5 hours total, it’s almost like we’re getting multiple new films.

Unfortunately, those expecting season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead to debut in its usual fall slot were disappointed when no such premiere announcement was made. Hell, when asked about it during an interview awhile back, not even Campbell himself had a firm idea of when the new season would air.

Thankfully, that question has finally been answered. Deadline reports that Ash vs Evil Dead’s 10-episode third season will premiere on Sunday, February 25th. Check out the official poster for season 3 below.

Loyal viewers of AvED will remember that season 2 ended with Ash, Pablo, and Kelly seemingly triumphant, but as always, happiness for Ash and friends never lasts.

Before too long, evil has returned to Elk Grove, and its up to everyone’s favorite groovy, wisecracking badass to save the day yet again. This time though, he’ll have his long-lost daughter Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill) by his side.

While it’s disappointing that we’ll have to wait until next year for more gory Ash vs Evil Dead goodness, at least the show isn’t canceled. Plus, February is usually a pretty dead time for TV premieres, and now we have something cool to look forward to.
