April Fool’s Day Screening in Los Angeles on April 1st
Cinefamily, a nonprofit movie theater, will be screening the 1986 film April Fool’s Day just for us horror buffs.
The amazing thing about the horror genre is that there is a movie for just about any holiday. Case in point, April Fools’ Day celebrating goofballs and silliness.
The screening is a part of their Friday Night Frights schedule, which has included a Friday the 13th Part III screening in the past.
Here’s a quick description of Cinefamily’s Friday Night Frights taken from their website:
“Midnight is the witching hour, and every other Friday night, Friday Night Frights brings you the finest cuts in upcoming horror and gruesome genre cinema, as well as devious picks from the repertory crypt, all with guests galore.”
The screening will take place on Friday, March 31 at 11:59pm just in time for the clock to strike midnight and foolish pranks to ensue.
April Fool’s Day follows nine college students who decide to stay at a friend’s mansion who get picked off one-by-one by an unknown killer. It takes place over April Fools’ Day weekend. So, is it all just an elaborate plan to scare them or is everyone really dying?
The movie’s director Fred Walton and the cast will be attending the screening.
The address is 611 N. Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036.
Tickets are available online for $12.
