Last week, Gun Media’s long-awaited Friday the 13th: The Game made its grand debut on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This marks Jason’s first starring role in a video game since the infamously difficult Friday the 13th NES game.
While reviews of the actual gameplay of F13: The Game have been pretty positive overall, the title has sadly been plagued by various online and technical issues since release, with patches expected to arrive soon.
Still, one thing that isn’t in dispute is just how awesome it is to see Jason kill people at Camp Crystal Lake yet again, for the first time since Platinum Dunes’ 2009 reboot.
To that end, the Youtube channel MKIceandFire has compiled a nearly 32-minute video that purports to spotlight each and every one of Jason’s gory kill animations in F13: The Game. Check it out below.
Well, that was fun, huh? Paramount may be seemingly incapable of figuring out how to do another Friday the 13th movie, but at least Jason fans can spend their 2017 hacking, slashing, and crushing a bunch of annoying camp counselors to death.
Of course, players can also choose to play as a counselor, and team up with a group of friends to take out Mr. Voorhees for good. However, while this method of play is still enjoyable, anyone who says that playing as Jason isn’t more fun is lying to you.
