1931 ‘Dracula’ Films to Bite the Big Screen Again

The Horror Equity Fund

You read that right. Films. Plural. But don’t worry, this isn’t about remakes. Fathom Events, Turner Classic Movies, and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have teamed up to release the classic 1931 Dracula starring Bela Lugosi as well as the Spanish version of the film on October 25th and 28th. As an added bonus, the will be an introduction giving some factoids about both of the films.

For those of you that don’t know, both movies were filmed on the same stages with the English version being shot during the day and the Spanish version during the night. Personally, I like them both, but I find the cinematography in the Spanish version to be a bit better. I really like some of the shots.

The events start at 2pm and 7pm both days for whatever time zone you may be in and run just a little over three hours, so head over the Fathom’s website!
